Reach research excellence with us! Umeå University is recruiting ten fellows as full-time assistant professors in tenure-track positions through the Umeå University Northern Star Fellows Programme. The offer includes start-up funding, excellent research infrastructure and a pathway to a permanent associate professorship position. Fellows can conduct research in different subjects at our comprehensive university.
As an assistant professor at Umeå University, you will develop in a supportive and collegial environment. Most of your time will be devoted to your own research, complemented by a smaller share of teaching. You will receive a start-up package, including funding for a doctoral student or equivalent, as well as operational funding tailored to your field.
The position is a six-year tenure-track appointment with the possibility of promotion to associate professor (senior lecturer). You can conduct research in your chosen subject.
