Diamond Light Source is the UK’s national synchrotron, located in the Harwell Science Campus in Didcot, Oxfordshire. It is a key member of the Instruct-ERIC UK Centre.
The facility is also home to the electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC).
Users at the facility can gain access to fragment screening technology, CryoEM, and X-Ray Diffraction and Bio-SAXS.
There are many ways for structural biology researchers to gain funded access to Diamond Light Source, to advance their own project with the state-of-the-art machinery available.
In partnership with the iNEXT Discovery project, researchers can submit a proposal to access the synchrotron. iNEXT-Discovery offers a wide range of facility access possibilities and expert support to all European scientists for their translational research in the wider field of structural biology and life sciences.
