The Abrescia Lab at CIC bioGUNE, near Bilbao, Spain, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join a funded project, with immediate start and a contract running until December 2027.
The project aims to resolve, using cryo-electron microscopy, the structure of a viral attachment protein from an animal pathogen. The Abrescia Lab has routine access to national and international electron microscopy infrastructures.
Candidates (Spanish nationals or EU citizens), preferably with prior experience in cryo-EM (although this is not mandatory), must have obtained their PhD within the last three years prior to the start of the contract.
The annual gross salary is €33,941.46.
