A BBSRC-funded postdoc position is available in the laboratory of Dr Corinne Smith to work on high resolution cryo-electron microscopy and biophysical analysis of clathrin cage complexes starting from April onwards. Further details below:

Research Fellow at School of Life Sciences, University of Warwick

£28,982 to £37,768 pa

Fixed term contract for 33 months (subject to confirmation of funding).

You will work in the group of Dr Corinne Smith on a BBSRC funded project which aims to reveal the critical structures for adaptor protein function in clathrin cage assembly through high resolution 3D cryo-electron microscopy and biophysical analysis of clathrin cage complexes.

You will have access to the facilities provided by the Warwick Structural Biology Group, the Advanced Bioimaging Research Technology Platform and the University of Warwick Centre for Scientific Computing. Electron microscopy equipment includes a Jeol 2200FS 200kV FEG cryo-TEM with in-column energy filter, Gatan K2 Summit director electron detector and Jeol 2011 LaB6 200 kV cryo-TEM.
