The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai seeks an experienced cryo-electron microscopist to manage the day-to-day operations of a cryo-EM core facility that will house a Thermo Scientific Glacios 200kV Cryo-TEM equipped with a Falcon 4i direct electron detector. The Core Scientist will provide services and consultation to researchers and investigators in the institution to facilitate highly technical and specialized scientific research. Core Scientist will seek knowledge and opportunities to develop strategies and solve problems. Core Scientist will execute projects in collaboration with other scientists and train and educate investigators.
