The Department of Structural Biology are looking for a new colleague to join our cryoEM team at Genentech.
In this Senior System Specialist role, you will support their portfolio of research and drug discovery projects by optimizing grids, acquiring images, operating and maintaining microscopes, and processing data. While the bulk of their work consists of single-tilt cryoEM for single-particle analysis and we will expect you to join these efforts, you will also help drive their nascent cryoET endeavours by leveraging your experience in sample preparation (with or without milling), tilt series acquisition, and subtomogram averaging.
