There is an opening in the Astbury Biostructure Laboratory at the University of Leeds for a postdoctoral BioNMR Staff Scientist. This is a 3-year, fixed-term post in which your role will be to attract, support and train new users of bioNMR from across the University and beyond – including nationally (and internationally, via membership of Instruct-ERIC). You will work closely with colleagues in other Astbury facilities such as protein supply and cryoEM, and engage widely to help new and existing users bring their samples to the spectrometers.
The NMR facility houses three state of the art, cryoprobe-equipped Bruker AV III HD NMR spectrometers at 950, 750 and 600 MHz, with both 3mm TCI and 5mm TXO (direct-detection optimised) cryoprobes available on the 950, and a SampleJet sample automation system on the 600.
