You will be a lead in applications development for our tomography projects with our collaborators and customers. You will collect and process tilt series datasets and perform sub-tomogram averaging analysis from purified protein samples as well as FIB milled cellular lamella. Furthermore, you will build a network within the cryoEM/ET community through collaborations with new and leading customers and help shape the future of cryoET. You will support product development and plan, own and execute applications case studies. This will require identifying relevant samples and defining new methods and protocols for cryoET workflows.

What will you do?

  • Develop and evaluate cryoET applications with our Krios and Glacios microscopes. This will include collecting and processing high resolution datasets for CryoET from purified proteins and cellular lamella samples.
  • Work with academic and industrial collaborators/customers and beta sites for training users (on site and remotely) and help demonstrate proof of concepts with challenging samples.
  • Support R&D, product development, marketing, and sales by lending applications expertise.
