2 Post-doctoral positions open in NMR of Large biomolecular Assemblies, IBS - Grenoble
Successful candidates will join Boisbouvier's group at IBS-Grenoble (FR) to work on the development of new NMR experiments and isotope labelling methods to push the biological applications of NMR beyond their current limits, and to apply the new methods to the study of large complexes and molecular machines of medical interest. Positions funded by an ERC Advanced Grant can be extended for up to five years and are ideal for young post-docs who wish to gradually develop independent research and apply for a permanent research position in France.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates should hold a PhD and have 0 to 7 years of post-doctoral experience. The first post-doctoral position focuses on the development and applications of new NMR experiments and will require an interest or expertise in the development of NMR pulse sequences for solution- or solid-state NMR. The second post-doctoral position focuses on the study of large molecular machines and the development of innovative isotope labelling strategies. This second position will require experience of protein expression and purification for structural biology, as well as experience or interest in the application of solution NMR spectroscopy.
Benefits:
Duration of the contract: 30 months (renewable up to 60 months).

Gross Monthly Salary: between 2905 € et 4260 € (according to experience).
All research-related exchanges will be in English, but to facilitate communication with IBS administrative services and integration in France, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to take French courses.
