Dear Colleagues,

we would like evaluate different HEK production procedures. Instead of our difficult target proteins, we may better use an easy secreted protein as read out, like SEAP.

Has anyone this or an alternative suitable gene that he could share?

Hi Sabine,

We have secreted eGFP that was recently presented by our UAB collaborators at the Cell Culture Engineering en Quebec. Is that any good to you (or eGFP is just too good?)?

The only SEAP we have is in a pTT vector that we unfortunately cannot share so easily.
