The Astbury Biostructure Laboratory (University of Leeds) and eBIC (Diamond light source) are pleased to announce an upcoming Beginners Single Particle cryo-EM virtual course happening February 6th-10th 2023.
This course is a part of the community-led training program in cryo-EM funded by Wellcome and the MRC, and is targeted at those who have no or very little experience in single particle cryo-EM. During the course, you will gain theoretical and hands-on practical knowledge in single particle cryo-EM pipeline starting from the sample preparation through data collection on Titan Krios microscopes and data processing.
Although the course is virtual, we will be able to provide an interactive learning experience by giving you remote control of the Titan Krioses. We offer the opportunity for the participants to send their cryo-EM grids or protein sample for grid preparation and collect data on your samples during the course.
The closing date of registration for the course is January 6th 2023. Attendees will be told if they have successfully secured a space by January 10th.
