Instruct PartnerWe are delighted to announce the 2026 EMBO Practice Course on “Advances in cryo-electron microscopy and 3D image processing” to be held from 17-25 August 2026 in the Advanced Training Center (ATC) at EMBL in Heidelberg. This course has a longstanding tradition in the cryo-EM field, and has been held biannually for over 3 decades.
The course provides comprehensive theoretical and practical training in advanced single-particle and cellular tomography techniques. It is aimed at PhD students and PostDocs who already have some experience in cryo-EM/ET and image processing, and who wish to learn the theory of cryo-EM image formation, processing and more advanced practice with the aim of developing these techniques. During the course, participants will also have a unique opportunity to have open discussions with world leading experts in the field through their in-person participation.
