The Macromolecular Crystallography group from Diamond is offering workshops around the country, to connect to current and future Users of our MX beamlines and facilities.
The next one is at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology in the afternoon on 14th May 2024, where you can learn more about techniques including:
• New opportunities that can be achieved with really small beams - new micro/nano-focus beamline VMXm
• Exploring biology at room temperature - developments at the in situ beamline VMXi and dynamic structural biology, including serial crystallography options from I24, the XFEL Hub and VMXi
• XChem fragment screening: preparation, experiment, and follow-up
• Characterising biologically relevant ions interacting with macromolecules
The workshop is targeted at all levels, from experienced crystallographers wanting to keep up to date with the latest developments, as well as new and prospective Users, and those considering a career in structural biology.
You are welcome to register by 30th April.
We will also be delivering similar training elsewhere in the country, so if you would be interested in hosting a future event, please email mx-usersupport@diamond.ac.uk
