CASP: CASP13 meeting

Registration for CASP13meeting will be held in Mexico, Dec. 1-4, 2018 is now open. CASP
(Critical Assessment of Techniques for Protein Structure Prediction)
community experiments aim to advance the state of the art in protein
structure modeling. About 80 modeling groups from around the world
participated in this round and the results will be published in a
special issue of the journal PROTEINS. For the previous CASP12 results
see: Proteins Vol 86, Issue S1, March 2018.
The CASP13 round included
12 cryo-EM-derived structure targets. The
meeting will be a great opportunity for the cryo-EM community to be
exposed to the most advanced methods in protein structure modelling and
develop collaborations.
In the meeting we will:
* Analyze the fascinating results of CASP13
* Discuss the newest advancements in the field
* Develop collaborations
* Explore the job market
We
are gathering at a beautiful Iberostar Paraiso Maya resort (site of the
CASP11 in 2014, destination airport is Cancun - CUN).
For Early Bird prices until August 17 so please
register promptly. Accompanying person fee is $330 for the duration of
the conference. The agreement with the hotel extends registration at the
conference rates to 3 days before and after the meeting. If you plan to
come with children under 13, please contact us for special arrangements
(children under 3 stay free).
