Instruct-ERIC is hosting the 2nd ERIC Forum meeting in Oxford UK on April 19-20th. The Forum brings together established ERICs and major Research Infrastructures with those that are progressing towards ERIC status through the ESFRI Roadmap. Its objectives are to develop visibility, impact and sustainability of the Research Infrastructures and support international research through cooperative actions.
The UK hosts two ERICs and is a member of several other research infrastructures in the Forum group. Collaborative European research in each of the ESFRI thematic groups of Energy, Environment, Health & Food, Physical Sciences and Social & Cultural Innovation supports scientific excellence which has a positive impact on communities worldwide.
