Instruct

The rapid developments of imaging technologies in the last two decades have led the scientific community to achieve biological and medical discoveries at an ever-increasing pace. Today, outstanding advances in electron (EM) and light microscopy (LM) enable us to directly visualise the molecular machinery of life at an unprecedented level of detail.

To make the most advanced technologies available to the broad research community, EMBL has established a new service facility at the Heidelberg campus, the EMBL Imaging Centre. A synergistic portfolio of imaging services including structural imaging via cryo-electron microscopy, the latest super-resolution microscopy techniques, and organismal imaging via multi-photon microscopy is offered to international users from both academia and industry to enable new ground-breaking research that crosses the scales of biology. Services include bespoke support in sample preparation, image acquisition and image data analysis, tailored to address the biological questions studied by the visiting researchers.

Register for the symposium here by 29th April.

The event will be held 31 May 2022 at EMBL Heidelberg.
