Biennial 2022 Student Fellowships

The Instruct-ERIC Biennial Structural Biology Conference 2022 brings together leading scientists from across the world - showcases the latest in integrative structural biology.

The 5th Biennial Conference will be held at Utrecht in the Netherlands, from 19 - 20 May 2022.

Instruct offers PhD Students the opportunity to be part of the Biennial with Student Fellowships, covering economy travel costs and accommodation for 2 nights.

The conference will explore new cutting-edge developments in structural biology, including the emerging methods and technologies that are helping scientists to decipher complex biomolecular dynamics. It is a key conference for structural biology researchers and students, as well as an invaluable networking event.

The deadline for fellowship applications is 15 March 2022.

Call Submission Guidelines

Eligibility requirements:

• Applicants should be pre-doctoral scientists (PhD students)
• The applicant’s home institution (applicant’s usual workplace) must be within an Instruct Member country
• Recipients must submit a 500-word report on their conference experience by 1 June 2022

Applicants should send a copy of the abstract submitted upon registration and a 200-word statement justifying their application and a letter of recommendation from their supervisor. The 200 word statement should make it clear why you would like to be part of the Biennial Conference, and what benefit it could provide for your research, experience and career.
